RACE DAY

Road closure On Race Day, there will be a full road closure from Tanah Merah Coast Road to Airport Logistics Park of Singapore from 6.00am to 9.30am. Road closure will be lifted after 9.30am; participants will be directed by route marshals to continue on footpath or park connectors. Participants are advised to reach Changi Exhibition Centre before 5.30am to avoid the peak hour (5.30am to 6.00am) traffic congestion. The entrance to Changi Exhibition Centre will be closed to traffic from the period of 6.00am to 9.30am during the race. Vehicles will not be allowed for entry/ exit during this period. Participants are advised to remove their vehicles from Changi Exhibition Centre Carpark before the Changi Exhibition Centre gate closure at 3.00pm. HOW TO GET THERE Shuttle Bus Service 1. From Pasir Ris Bus Interchange to Changi Exhibition Centre (Before Race) Free Shuttle Bus Service will be available at Pasir Ris Bus Interchange (Bus berth next to Transit Link Office) to Changi Exhibition Centre. Participants are advised to board the shuttle bus before 5.30am. The last bus will leave Pasir Ris Bus Interchange at 5.40am. Pasir Ris Bus Interchange Bus Schedule: (There will be no shuttle bus service between 5.40am to 9.30am) 4.30am to 5.40am 2. From Changi Exhibition Centre to Pasir Ris Bus Interchange (After Race) Free Shuttle Bus Service will also be available at Changi Exhibition Centre (After Race) to Pasir Ris Bus Interchange. Participants are advised to board the shuttle bus before 1.00pm. The last bus will leave Pasir Ris Bus Interchange at 1.00pm sharp. Changi Exhibition Centre Bus Schedule: (There will be no shuttle bus service between 5.40am to 9.30am) 9.30am to 1.00pm ISLAND-WIDE SHUTTLE BUS SERVICES Island-wide shuttle bus services will be available at 13 MRT stations and locations on Race Day morning. The bus service will bring runners directly to the race venue at Changi Exhibition Centre. Bus tickets can be purchased at S$ 3.00 per person/ way from the New Balance REAL Run Prelude at Velocity @ Novena Square on 30 September – 2nd October 2011. Public Bus There is no public bus service available to Changi Exhibition Centre. Participants are advised to use the Free Shuttle Bus Service provided by the Organiser.
